All it takes is heaps of wheat, chocolate, munich malt, pure mountain water, a little hops, and a traditional German yeast and Bob's Your Uncle...Dunkelweizen! It's just that simple! (Did we forget to mention it's unfiltered with great clove characteristics?)

Poured a dark body, dark enough to be a Coke, beneath a miniscule ivory head. Aroma was quite malty, along with cloves. Taste was quite similar. Mouthfeel was rich and smooth, with a sweet finish - but not too sweet, thankfully.

Tottally digging dunkels and bocks this winter! Super malty and wheaty, bit sweet, nice spice, subtle though.... clove, cinnamon, winter spices, bit of dried fig. Im not sure I like the dried fig analogy though because it is thinner than that. Nice balance with the bitter hops, little bit of livelohood presented from the yeast as well. Probably the best release to date from this brewery.
