Comes out of the growler a rich, warm sable that lets daylight in only at the very bottom and has a very thick, fluffy and persistent tan head. Aroma has notes of roast malt, coffee and licorice. Flavor has a malty core and notes of chocolate, coffee and licorice with a dusty hint of oatmeal. Smooth texture does not have very robust body, but fizz level is good. Welcome to the neighborhood!
