Well, I was trying to identify what exact beer of Hamovniki brewery had been exported to the US named Moscow Beer and I guess it could be the one that is being sold in Russia under the name Hamovnicheskoe. Here it has 4.5% AbV but it really makes no difference. I can agree with Jamesblob that the taste and smell of this beer is disgusting. Actually it's one of the most skunky beers brewed in Moscow. I suppose that the problem is water used for it, because all Hamovniki beers are like this and I personally cannot tell one from another due to the same taste with kind of grainy and metal tones. The appearance is quite average, pale yellowish with unstable and not long lasting head. The only good thing is the price, it's one of the cheapest beers in Moscow, so I'd say it's a drink for those who cannot afford buying beer.

The label of this beer just describes it as Russian or Moscow beer. It is a pale golden color. The color is the best thing going for it. It has a off taste and aroma, kind of grainy. I tried a few sips, and thats all I could handle.
