Sampled on tap at Morgan Street. This maibock pours clear copper with a small tan head and very intricate lacing. Aroma is very clean, but otherwise non-existant. The flavor is dominated by rich malts, including caramel & toast. Well-balanced with a clean finish. Medium-bodied, moderately carbonated and smooth. I could have drank these all night.

Kind of boring Maibock from Morgan Street. Nothing offensive here, very light hop presence, mostly a dry, crisp malt dominates the beer. Good darker amber color and rather drinkable. RERATE: Certainly improved, far maltier, very clear, a more robust incarnation and likely Morgan Street's best beer to date.
