Well, my boss was nice enough to pick this brew up for me at a local packy up in North Atlanta and I was quite excited when I saw it was a kellerbier style brew because I have never had one before and when exploring a new style, it is always an excellent adventure. So, this is my run down of a new beer and a new style for me; I may be at a bit of a disadvantage being I have never had this style but here it goes. The aroma is biscuity and sweet with some slight tartness coming through and has bready yeast overtones as well some caramel and maybe some dark fruity notes. The appearance is a deep golden amber with a rather nice head on top that is a bit thin but is present and is a bit creamy but fuzzy and diminishes to a light, off-white tan in color leaving qualifiable lacing on the glass. The mouthfeel is light-bodied with some decent malty complexity as well as good bready and yeasty balance with a palate that is very wet-like but thin in my opinion. The flavor is of faint caramel malt, fruit, and yeast with an aftertaste that is a bit dry-like with some bready overtones coming through with a finish that is smooth, drinkable, of thin caramel malt and has good sessionability. Overall, this is similar to a very dry amber lager but with fainter notes of caramel and maybe even some slight roastiness which is mysterious and warranted because it makes you want more as you sip this brew and it keeps things interesting. This brew was a good first example of the style for me and I am sure there are many, many others out there that are only better; recommended brew here especially for the Oktoberfest season. This brew is in between a maerzen-style brew and a amber lager and is the middle ground between those two styles; thanks for the brew!!

not much foam. Aroma is nice malty, grainy and a bit sweetish. nice bronze color. In the taste it feels, that this beer has aged for a long times, or at least a part of it. Nice beer, but not for the weak...
