500ml bottle that pours a clean copper-amber colour with a warm mocha-froth light-beige coloured head that coats the brew for a while. The lacing left as the brew goes down is wavy and creamy. Very rich smelling aromas with dark fruits, caramel, mild bananas, spices and ready malts. Raisins in the taste with a quick finish, drying hops. This helps the beer not be syrupy, and easier to drink. Some apples notes, maybe vanilla. Not finding much chocolate in this one. Seems a little unbalanced all-around, and surprising coming from this good brewery.
