Pours out in an almost opaque muddy brown colour with a rich sticky white head. Rounded aroma of peat, toasted malts, mild tar, cloves and green bananas. Medium-bodied with notes of peat, cloves, banana, toasted malts, yeast and salty licorice. Cloves, mild peat and fudge in the yeasty aftertaste. Definitely not as smoky as Schlenkerla’s Weisse and it has a bit to much cloves for my liking.

Draught@Monks Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy deep ambery brown colour with a small slightly off-white creamy head. Aroma is wheat, some smoked wet wood, mild spicyness, quite a bunch of banana and also some raisins. Flavour is raisins, some dark fruits, wheat, mild roasted malts as well as some spicy and yeasty notes.
