A crisp, drinkable IPA. The earthy deliciousness of Cascade and Simcoe hops, combined with upfront malt flavor, and balanced with a pirate’s sensibilities. Our Eye Patch Ale is a uniquely drinkable take on the American IPA – sweet caramel, citrusy flowers and swashbuckling adventure abound with every pint.

I sampled the blood orange eye patch first, which I found to be better. Maybe the extra citrus balance it out more, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the balance and quality of this one. Had an unfiltered, darker hazy yellow to orange appearance. Some tropical and ctirus flavors ,with the balance leaning towards the sweeter malts vs. featured hops. About average for the style.

Bottle from sam/@d3atlanta. Nice amber pour, tight white head, nice lacing. Ample grapefruit and honeysuckel/floral nose and initial taste, with a then sweet malt presence, fruity and easy to drink, very light bitter linger. Very Refreshing and easy to drink. Thanks Sam.

Dark orange color with a white head. Aroma contains grapefruit, caramel, and perfume. Flavor is rather bitter with a malty presence. Aftertaste is rathers bitter with a grassy presence. Overall a good session IPA.

Comes out of the tap a clear, bubbly, dark amber with a fine-bubbled pale yellow-tan head. Richly hoppy aroma has hints of orange and banana. Hoppy, malty, slightly fruity flavor is quite enjoyable. A fried of mine who normally doesn't like IPAs appreciated this one because it is so mild. Texture is fizzy, tingly and lively, rounding out a pleasant beer experience.
