A cherry black colored beer with a small, three fingered sudsy off white head rising above. The hang time on the head is short lived. And there is no lacing. A light fruity nose. More intense dark fruits in the tasting. Seems like a lambic. Slick on the tongue.

22 oz bottle. Pours brown with a medium creamy tan head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass some.

The aroma is roasted wheaty malts with some chocolate and fig and banana.

The flavor is sweet toasted wheaty malts with some chocolate, earthy yeast and a little dark fruit and banana and a bit of alcohol in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation, slightly watery.

Overall, a decent Belgian dark ale.
