Has an average size head that goes away rather quickly and leaves a thin layer. Has an amber/coppery appearance. Light raspberry aromas with malts and wheats. Raspberry flavour is quite mild along with hints of malts and yeast. Slight bitterness and has a tarty mouthfeel with a prickly sensation on the palate. Pretty good but one is enough per sitting.

I love fruity beers, but not sure if something was wrong with this one. Started off nicely with a clear ruby-purple-red colour and a small white cap that had minimal lacing. Beautiful nose of cranberry-raspberry juices, more on the sweet side. This is where things go wrong. The taste is way too mild, like really watered-down. Not any of the sweetness found in the aromas. Just a tiny little bitterness found in cranberries and then, a tad of sourness. All, with too much water. Not finding any of the malt others have tasted (and usually found in most Mill Street beers). Too bad.

Recently had this on tap at a couple of places in Toronto, and the sample I had ath t5he brew pub itself was the best. A cherry red beer with a pinkish head and an aroma dominated by fresh raspberries. The flavour is primarily grainy malt, but just enough raspberry to provide a great drinking experience.

I tried this beer on on tap on May 14, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a slightly translucent solid red with a short lived tan head that laced. The aroma was grainy malt, raspberries, and sweaty socks. The mouthfeel was weak bodied (almost watery) with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was tart raspberries, green apples, metallic steel and some malt. Not a beer I will try again. -

Available at the Mill Street BrewPub in Toronto's Distillery district. The beer pours a red colour with a pinkish head. The aroma is primarily malty with some wheaty and raspberry tones. The flavour was malty with some thin raspberry flavouring.
