Golden brew with mild haze complete with a soft crown leaving roapy lacing on every sip....in other words looks like almost every beer ever made. for a lager this has a big hop nose, with heavy pineapple, lemon, there is malt in the nose but the hops are just crushing them into nothing. Bitter hoppy taste that has more in common with an APA then any lager. Watery feel and taste, with heavy belch producing carbonation. So much bitter. Lemon hard candy is lingering in the aftertaste. Is this really lager?? I could pound this beer all day to bad its 5$ a bottle.

repackaged as Mikkeller Dream Pils. Very nice...vibrant hop bite in the aroma and flavor with a nice but light dose of sweet malt to balance. Flavor of frash cut grass. a standout pils that unfortunately is priced like one.

This is the highest rated lager on Ratebeer, and I'm not sure why. Aside from a lot less adjunctial scents and flavours, there's not a lot to distinguish this from a lot of North American craft lagers. It's gold, it's grainy, has hops, and goes down well.

Pours out in a hazy dark golden with a rich and firm white head. Crisp and fragrant hop aroma of grapefruit, lychee and and wet grass. Leaning to light-bodied with crisp notes of wet grass, blond grapefruit, hay and gooseberries. Bitter finish of grapefruit, pine and kiwi.

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.6%. Some sediment in the bottle. Deep golden colour, big to moderate white head. Lovely aroma of American hops, notes of tropical fruits and pine. The flavour has also distinct notes of fruity and piney American hops, fairly light bodied and dry.

Tap, City Beer Store. A fine beer but not terribly exciting. This beer looks, smells and tastes a lot like a dry IPA. It drinks a bit bigger than the abv would suggest. The beer has a nice aroma that leans toward American hops - grapefruit rind and pine notes. There’s also a touch of grassiness and some yeast in the nose. The flavor is dry and yeasty with light hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and quite good. It’s a nice sessionable beer that costs a fairly outrageous price, at least this far from its home.
