Pine, earthy hops. A little too malty with this hop, not one of my favorites, being used. Still pleasant, though.................................................

Another in the Mikkeller single hop series. Starts out with a one dimensional flavor and surprisingly builds in complexity and intensity with each sip. A great educational brew.

Reddish bright brown with a good 1” cap, nice retention. Aroma is strange not sure if I like it, hoppy chocolate, with some medical alcohol and dirt. Taste is thin but rough. Its pure bitter pain with no flavor. So very harsh. The malts are dirt and chocolate like. So rough on the palate. I’m having a hard time describing this beer it has flavor but nothing that can be named. A boooo.

Sampled on 10/8/2010. This IPA pours a slightly cloudy medium orange gold color from a 330ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with nice retention and decent lacing. The aroma is citrusy, piney, fruity and sweet, hint of wood. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are earthy, piney and a touch citrusy. Good carbonation. Nicely balanced. Not sure I like East Kent Goldings as the only hop in a beer. Nice flavors, but the earthy and herbal tones are a bit much. A mildly bitter IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.9%. Orange colour, big off-white head. Moderate aroma of EKG hops, fruity and grassy notes. Distinct hoppy flavour, quite dry. Bitter and "dusty" finish.

Pours out in an unclear brownish amber appearance with a brief off-white foam. Rather hoppy if a bit unfocused hop aroma of grass, mild herbs, soil and red berries with touches of caramel. Medium-bodied with notes of grass, orange-peels, mild lemon, herbs and earth. Dryish bitter finish of grass and mild white pepper. Well-made beer with a boring hop variety.
