Poured with a beautiful hazy orange body topped by a fluffy white head that left great lace. Aroma is huge citrusy hops, orange peel, rich caramel malt and a touch of alcohol. Mouthfeel is full and expansive. Flavor is outstanding and tastes like it's fresh off the U.S. west coast. Grapefruit, bitter orange, and caramel with floral and spicy hop tones coming through as well.

Aroma is strongly hoppy, the way an IPA otter be, with hints of citrus and wood. It pours a clear coppery amber with a thick off-white head that hangs around for a bit. Hoppy flavor has a strong caramel undertone and more sweetness than bitterness, as well as an orange note. Texture is firm-bodied and rather fizzy, leaving a nice hoppy, fizzy finish with some caramel underpinning. Mikkeller got the Beat!

Hazy brown body with a tall 2" cap. Massive grapefruit and peach hop in the nose, there is this awesome tartness with hints of pepper. What is that odd aroma???? salt? that makes no sense. Leather, cinnamon....Daaaaaa there so much going on in this aroma but I can't nail down any of it. Malty bitter goodness, ruby red grapefruit, pine, resin. Bitterness is lingering. Massive peach. Getting chocolate hints of ash not to much though. Just got a massive black grape flavour. This beer is soooooooooooooooooo good! This is one of the more complex IIPA's I've had in a while. Drink it if you can get it people.

Dark amber pour with medium sized head. Really nice lacing on my glass. Pine, citrus, and flower aroma. Flavor is orange and grapefruit; smooth and creamy. A great beer to enjoy!

nice bright aroma and bittersweet citrus flavor. hides the alcohol very very well, and tasted fresher than many of Mikkellers stateside brews. very well done, will search out again.

Open the bottle and bright ripe oranges are kicking my nostrils. On to the rest of the review: there is some wood in the aroma. Lookss like rusty old cloudy orange juice, absolutely awesome. white toast, bit og bacon grease, fried pineapple, cant get over how it barley tastes alcoholic. Some definately candy somthing going on. The whole beer mellows tons as it warms. So well balanced. My drinking companion will says "its all I can do to not drink it right now". Warmer now. Hops are now woodier, trees, moss, and the citurs really dimishes late on. Fantastic, have not had an IPA that compares.

Pours out in a hazy dark amber colour with a small white head. Rich aroma of resin, plums and cookies. Full-bodied with notes of resin, cookies, canned apricots, red grapefruit and grass with hints of caramel and caramelized sugar. Long bittersweet finish of resin, grass, pine-needles, lemon-zest and burnt sugar.

12 oz bottle into a tulip. Pours a cloudy dark cider-like amber with a one-finger head that settles into a coating. Lacing is lighter but lasting. Nose is a great pine, citrus (grapefruit and oranges)) and floral combination. And the taste is very pleasant journey through the sweetness of tropical fruit, some light bitterness, caramel malts and the pleasingly bitter and dry finish. Mouthfeel is medium and a little sticky. There is NO hint of the ABV of 9.75% so beware. Denmark and Mikkeller seem to “get it” in terms of making an IPA ‘cause this is a great one. I loved this and, if it weren’t that it was a little pricey, this would be a go-to for sure. Great beer.

Draught@Mikkeller Bar. Goldeny amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, wood, yeast, mild alcohol, more fruits and some slight malts. Flavour is grass, fruits, floral notes, herbs and some wood. Mouthdrying.
