This is worth the education but not worth the price. Centenial is a good hop but at this hop rate it doesn't make a remarkable beer. I knew I would buy it for the experience but I was hoping for more.

330 ml bottle, as Mikkeller Centennial Single Hop IPA, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.9%. Orange to amber colour, big to moderate off-white head. Moderate aroma of Centennial hops - slightly woody, resinous and spicy. The flavour is distinctly hoppy - woody and spicy again, on a background of very moderate malty sweetness. Very bitter finish and aftertaste. Decent enough beer, but it leaves me with the impression that Centennial is better in combination with other hops, rather than as a single hop.

Reddish amber colour, huge beige foamy head. Huge flowery, fruity and grassy hops in the nose along with slight caramelly and spicy notes. Flavour is very much the same with a sting of alcohol and even mild licorace in it. Slight yeastyness showing once it gets a bit warmer. Long spiced, hoppy and slightly licoracyish aftertaste. Very pleasant.

Thanks to sk8viking for this brew 500ml bottle, pours a brown/golden color with a huge off white head. The flavor (no surprise) is hoppy, very piney hoppy. Nice brew

Reddish brown with some haze. rich tan colopured head. Wonderful hoppy and fruity aroma of bloodgrape, herns, lemon and black currant leaves. Hoppy flavour of blood oranges, grapefruit, orange-peels and currant leaves with solid cracker-like maltinnes. Long grapefruity finish. Smooth mouthfeel. A very well-made IPA, I wish I had another bottle.
