A nice offering from Mikkeller, a nice blend of hops, you get a little orange, grapefruit, mango, and pine in the aroma and flavor but the sweet malts take center stage. A deep murky orange/brown tinged hue, the cap is thick, and the lace is good. Overall a nice sipper, not overly aggressive, yet assertive enough.

Ten hops? Ridiculous. Not my favorite Mikkeller IPA, and for good reason, but I'm glad they push the envelope. I'll probably drink this beer again, but it's hopeless to discern the hops. A bit thin means it pairs with food well. The more I drink it, the more I like it. I like the hop amount, it's not too bitter or overpowering, it has a delicate citrus flavour, and keeps me wanting more. Dammit, why didn't I buy two?

Food pairing: Deluxe Pizza Pop. Fantastic! Great IPA. I think I like it more because it is bitter, flavourful, bit thin, but that is what makes it great with food. Tottally dig the variety of hops, they get lost in eachother, but in a balanced way that prevents the beer from being to sharp, something I find I dont like in many west caost IPAs. The citrus is there, its intense, but its not sharp, it doesnt bite my tounge. Big fan.

Draught. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a slightly off white head that leaves some slight lace. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some slight maltyness. Flavour is quite much the same, but is a bit of a mess when it comes to the hops.

I had this beer at Mikkeller Bar on 15 January 2011. This beer was quite nice and well hopped. The hops are mainly floral and citrus profiled hops. I enjoyed this beer and would have it again.

Bright reddish brown with a thick foamy cap, Sweet hoppy goodness in the aroma with faint red wine vinegar, aroma seems mild but has a nice balance between hops and malts. Taste is yummy but seems thin and held back. it has a massive bitter presence with wood and citrus as secondary flavours. Really wish the was more full bodied then I’d be all over this beer, but it’s not bad. Starting to pick out lemon lime but not to strongly. The malts are in here but they are hard to pick out of the bitter. Not as big or complex as I thought it would be all the hop varieties seem to get lost in each other. Still good to drink though.

Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a rich frothy tan-coloured head. Rich hop aroma of resin, plums, lychee, grapefruit and flowers. Medium-bodied with notes of grapefruit, wet grass, resin, orange-peels and lemon-zest. Long bitter finish of grapefruit and resin.

12 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Poured a hazy orange-amber with a one-finger head which settled into a coating. Lacing was ample and lasting. Nose was citrus (orange and mango) and some floral and pine. Taste was citrus (especially orange and grapefruit) and sweet, giving way to some pine, grassy notes and finishing with some nice hop bitterness. There are some caramel malts that are fairly strong in the middle. Mouthfeel was medium with healthy carbonation. There was definitely a hop bite and slightly bitter finish but this beer still falls on the sweeter side of IPA’s. This is a nice IPA I wouldn’t hesitate to try again.
