A beer of the month club entry for April/May 2011. Pours a deep burnt amber color. Flavor is a refreshingly malty, with a bit of burnt sugar flavor. Texture is a little thin making the brew very acceptable for a "with a meal" session, but is a little disappointing as a stand alone.

Pours a nice clear cinnamon brown with a thick, if not persistent, creamy off-white head. Aroma is malty with an overtone of molasses and not too strong. Flavor is fairly malty with a hint of caramel. Texture is fairly fizzy and a bit on the thin side. Not great, but worth at least a try.

Really nothing too great here... Pretty much just your average brown ale. Not too spectacular, and the nut flavor is absent.. Plenty of other brown ales out there to try

From a bottle. Pours a clear reddish brown with an off white head. Aroma is light. Caramel notes. Pretty thin mouthfeel. Flavor leaves much to be desired. Slightly sweet, but there's not much to it. Pretty disappointing for Michigan. They have some good beers overall.

Not bad , but there are so much better brown ales out there I would rather pay the extra to have. When it comes to beer, dont settle on price unless your a drunk... Kissmybass
