I was really looking forward to this Brown Ale. I was mildly disappointed, but I still would get it again if it was on tap. I like the appearance and the head, but the mouthfeel, and flavor made me think, do I really like this? Still, I am happy that SA is making an effort to compete with the imports and micro crowd, and hopefully this is a start. Now, all we need is a Stout. KMB

This beer is 4.99 a six pack. What does that tell you. I will say though, it was drinkable because it was so watered down. No bad tastes whatsoever. This is a beer you drink when playing quarters, or just want a six when you've been layed off. Nothing like getting a buzz for under $5. If you want cheap beer that wont have you gagging, this is it.(You can purchase it at an ALDES grocery store.) KMB

A very good beer. I drank this at a irish pub in Cincy OH, and enjoyed the whole atmosphere of the place and this brew. I would buy it again, and will. If anything, not enough head. KMB

Lets just say if you ever get a chance to try this one from the Gilmore collection, go for it. I am very picky about my stouts, and this one was so smooth but with big flavor. Head was not as good as I like, but besides that, dont pass on this one. KMB

Compared to Guinness, no way! It may be one of the worst stouts I have ever had. Do not waste any money on this one. Head lasted a couple minutes only, and it even had carbonation that turned me off. KMB
