Medium gold color, medium head. A full-bodied IPA, malty and very hoppy. Some malt sweetness, but this a very hoppy IPA. Good flavor. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter. Very nice traditional IPA.

OK, sitting at a characterless bar in Terminal A of the Detroit airport. Just got in from DC; haven't had a beer in 60+ hours, since leaving DFH in Rehoboth. Here are my choices; Heineken, Miller Lite, MGD, Miller 64, Amstel Light, Blue Moon, Rolling Rock, Corona, Corona Light, Coors Light, Labatt Light, Labatt Blue, Michelob Extra, Bud Select, BL Lime, BL Wheat, BL, Bud, Sam Adams Light, Landshark, Magic Hat 9, Killians, and Michigan Brewing Co. IPA. Consequently made my selection and, hey, this is one of the BEST beers I can ever remember drinking! Exquisite bitter flavor supplants a firm malty base. This is truly Nirvana. Don't care now if my plane ever boards. Wisconsin, where is that? New Glarus? Tyranena? Ale Asylum? Who needs them? Oh, wait. They just called my flight. The last of the pint turns one dimensional. Not much of a finish, lightly metallic. all of a sudden this tastes like one of those mealy grapefruits that has been in the fridge for months. Great Lakes, sure...but High Seas? Maybe I need to try this one again. Next trip. . . ...... Sitting on the plane, bluesandbarbq has me thinking I may have been too harsh. An hour and 28,000 feet removed from it, I now recall this being a fine beer... Gonna up the ratings a little. But ONLY a little.

This bear pours the classic deep orange IPA color with a nice yellowy head that laces well. The aroma was fruity and citrusy with a good malt backbone. The flavor was strong and hoppy with a good bitterness. The only problem I found with this beer was from initial taste to finishing bitterness, there was an absence of flavor and body. A good beer with a strong start and a stellar finish that lacked somewhat in the middle.

Pours a golden brown, has lots of loogie brown sediment on the bottom of the bottle .. . Very clean Maple syrup smell, some honey and light honey liquor .. . pretty goodamount of bitters, almost balanced, kinda muddled .. . no off flavours .. . no real abv detected except slightly in the nose .. . leg thing? .. . an ok IPA but shows the michigan brewing charm...

A respectable I.P.A. nice hoppy aroma with a malt presence, a clear golden orange body with a thin cap. Flavor of bitter pine hops, not much of a malt back though. Slightly bitter finish and aftertaste, overall an above average brew.

Nice gold color with a small head. Pretty hoppy with a light maltiness to it. Pretty enjoyable with a crisp finish. Overall this is a very solid IPA that I will try again if I come across it again.

From a bottle. Pours a cloudy copper color with a nice thick white head. A lot of sediment floating around. Decent hop aroma. Flavor is well balanced with a great sweetness and bitterness. Nice bitter aftertaste as well. Overall a good beer.

Bottle. Poured a cloudy orange-brown color with a nice white head. Good lacing. Aroma is very hoppy and citrus-like with a lot of orange to it. Flavor is nicely hopped with a citrus kick to it. Solid beer. I wasn't expecting much, but this was a great and tasty surprise.
