A typically commercial American beer, quite refreshing and better than it's reputation. This was the favourite beer of my (now late) uncle in California, I drank large quantities of it in the summer heat when I visited him there many years ago, and has a soft spot for it due to that. When I much later found the beer in Norway, the magic was gone. Drinkable and better than other BMC swill, but of course no masterpiece.

This is without a doubt the best product Anheuser-Busch ever produced. Medium yellow color and thick white foamy head. Real good taste of malts and grains. Good enough as a anytime beer.

Pours pale golden with a nice frothy white head with plenty of bubbles with little lacing. The aroma is of hops, pale malts, bready, sweet, and clean. The taste follows the aroma. There's a malty sweetness as well as some hops on the back end. It's clean tasting and bready. The body is light with adequate carbonation. The finish is crisp and dry. The drinkability is high. Overall, this is an ok macro lager. Give AB some credit on this one.

Golden yellow pour with a fairly thick white head. Minimal amount of lace on the glass with an average amount of carbonation. As others have previously written this isn't a bad mass produced beer.

It pours a light-golden with thick white head and copious lace. An aroma of sour malts, light hops, lemon, and mild spice. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of sour malts, hops, lemon, and mild spice. Average-at-best.. Almost swill.

Aroma of grass, malt and and some hops. A golden yellow body, not much carbonation, head or lace. Standard lager taste, overall not much going on at all.

i actually like the Ultra version better, so what does that say about the qualities of this beer, when the dumbed down version is prefered??? nothing good...

Overall, I don't know why they want others to think that Michelob is an entirely different beer company, when its made by AB. The beer is pretty swilly, and in imbibing, you become a swill head.

Golden yellow body, ample carbonation, fizzy thin white head. Not much on aroma and flavor but its not offensive at least. Better than alot of AB products.

A decent beer with no odd flavors. Good for a hot day or not offending others. Overall its a decent lager that offers little. Maybe the best option at your local picnic.

A hazy golden colored beer. The frothy white head, on pour is weak and disappears without any lacing. Too much carbonation. A very bland lager without much aroma or taste. A pretzel and nut swill that is nothing more than water with alcohol.
