Warlord is a monster of a beer. It's the most heavily dry-hopped beer we've ever made. The caramel and slight notes of apricot come from the generous user of domestic and British malts and although it has a bitterness of 85 IBU's it is still well balanced. Do not operate farm machinery.

From Chris @ Bearden Beer Market: beautiful clear copper pour with a tight bubbled off white head and thick lacing with every drink. Almost chocolate aroma with an overly sweet and candy nose, a touch sour and slightly lemon-ish wet malts. Taste is unfortunately much like the overly sweet aroma with an over-cloying presence that doesn't leave much to desire. Not recommended.

This poured a murky brown color with a small soapy head. The aroma contains some mild citrus, brown sugar, and caramel. This isn’t looking good so far. The flavor is somewhat bitter with some grapefruit and lemons. Where is the pine?? It has been replaced by caramel chews and iced tea flavors with just a dash of FAIL!. I’m not sure what the goal here was, if it was to suck they sure achieved that!

22 oz. bottle into a Duvel tulip Poured a dark, cloudy reddish orange with a one-finger head that settles to a coating. Lacing was interesting - almost looked like milk skim. Nose was malt forward, some flowery hops and a little citrus. Taste transitions from hops and pine to caramel malts, pineapple and grapefruit with some bitterness in the start and again in the finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium with a little edge and expected oiliness. In a previous reviews, a soapiness has been mentioned and it’s there in the mouthfeel. Carbonation makes for some large bubbles. Drinkability was ok if I could get it easier but it is a little syrupy to fit with my favorites in this style.
