Thanks to whomever brought this to Noogfest II. This opaque orange-ish brew has some nice balance between malts & hops. It's finish was unfortunately dry & dusty.

This strong ale pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is floral and sweet. A medium bodied English Strong Ale. Malts are fruity and bready. Hops are earthy and floral. Nice balance. Touch of citrus and a little tart. Nice beer. Soft carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

A murky orange appearance. A spicy citrus aroma. The flavor is rather tame with some sour citrus notes and a bready presence. Not bad but not much to this beer.

Pours a dark gold. The flavor has a thin maltiness along wiht a seemingly misplaced bitterness. The hop character is not really there except in that bitterness. Not really bad though.

"Noogfest 06". Aroma is graniy with some maltiness and is sweet with slight hop presence and maybe some citrus overtones. The appearance is a very light orange to bronze with a nice head on top that diminishes to some extent. The mouthfeel is light and has decent complexity as well as balance. The flavor is of caramel and vienna malt maybe and overall, not a bad beer but nothing special either and might make for a good session brew on occasion.

Traditional amber color with a large bubbled white head. Faint hoppy aroma. Musty old english feel though the hops seem to counterbalance making it tolerable.

Poured a light amber color with a smallish head. Nice initial hop bite like a nice IPA but ended up tasting like a medium hoppy pale. Dry finish.

Poured (with no pfft whatsoever) a copper color with big off white bubbles, and just a little bit of head, and very light lacing. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, cinnamon, and citrus hops. Mouthfeel was not totally flat, as it had light carbonation. Pine, vanilla and oak tastes. Then some bready toasty and roastiness followed by a nice hop bitterness. Different but nice.
