Dark brown colour, almost black with some ruby highlights. The head is creamy, somewhat bubbly, lightly mocha-coloured with good retention and lacing. Big coffee nose over the roasted malt base with hints of cereals. The taste shows the coffee, tamed, blended with the roasted barley giving a touch of dark fruits (prunes mostly). Not sweet, nor too rich with some good dryness in the finish. A nice easy-drinking, dry coffee stout.
