    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7

The aroma is sweet and full of hoppy goodness with bitter overtones as well as some slight, dried-flowers and perhaps some fruitiness as well as caramel. The appearance is a nice amber to light burgundy with hues of brownish red with a lot of bubbles with a nice, medium head on top that remains and is bubbly and creamy and a very light tan in color and is rocky leaving luscious coatings of lace. The mouthfeel is full-bodied and full of extreme complexity with great balance with a palate that is smooth and creamy and almost gooey (syrupy?) or chewy. The flavor slams you upfront with massive amounts of hoppy bitter with dried-floral overtones and perhaps some sweet maltiness and caramel with an enormous hoppy aftertaste with hints of grapefruit with a finish that supplies a strong malty backbone offering some caramel and floral overtones and at the end the bitter is so great it makes you quench. Overall, what can I say, this brew is complex as hell and full of bitterness.

Pours a slightly hazed copper with an excellent head. Pine blends with peach in the aroma. The flavor brings the caramel malt to the front and the hops meld with the malt sweetness to create a touch of citrus fruit and conifer candy.
