We look to the German 'Dortmunder' lager/pilsner beers as our inspiration for this product. These are very fresh and clean lagers with delicate sweet malt character and moderate hop bitterness, flavour and aroma. The beauty of this particular sub-style is the overall balance of the beer; if wine descriptors were to be used, the terms elegant and fine would come to mind. Many drinkers - and staff members - have noted with some bemusement our inclination towards naming our beers.
