Milton LCBO Outlet #2 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
May 9, 2015
The beer pours a translucent medium gold colour with a thin rockey white cap. The aroma is acidic and metallic with hints of graions. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is musky grains with a hint of floral hops. Wouldn't buy again. -

Use to get this in a 4-pack at the LCBO, but now available in singles. Pours a clean light-golden colour with a big frothy white head, good retention and lots of soapy lace. Smells nice at first pour with the Pils grassy nose and hints of fruits, but a little after, the rusty hop aromas appear (that I am not a fan of). The taste is watery with some sweet malts and wet metallic water. Was much better when I had from the can, but when poured into a glass... on this one you can pass.

A clear golden yellow colored beer with a big foamy textured white head rising above. It settles in short order into a medium soapy ringlet and splotches of film. A light sweet malt nose. Some grass. The grassy hops are more dominate in the tasting with sweet grain in the tasting. Medium light body. Overall not bad.

Pours a lightly hazed pale gold lager in the glass with a 1 finger white rocky cap. Moderate carbonation, weak lacing. Aroma is subtle - light wafts of malt, earthy hop notes and a light dextrin (LME?) sweetness. Flavor is rounded but balance tends toward the hopping. Fairly 2 dimensional but clean, some LME dextrin notes and a weird piercing hop bite in the end - probably the product of hop extract. A pleasant inoffensive commercial Euro-lager. I detected some portion of malt and hop extract as is expected in a commercial vollbier. It is inoffensive, quenching but at $1.90 a half liter can there are better choices in traditional beers for the same price or less..

It pours a hazy light amber with thick white head and excellent lace. Fresh aroma of hops, malts, limes, and mild spices. The mouthfeel is smooth and full-bodied. Flavors of rich malts, hops, lemon/lime zest, light pepper and spice. Refreshingly good.

Nicely golden color. Not much foam. Aroma is quite neutral, but has good hops in it. There is fruitiness in the taste, maybe a little bit of sweetness. Aftertaste is quite bitter.

The green plastic bottle was kind of surprising, a pale yellow fizzy body, thick white head, decent lacing. It was a little skunky but not overwhelming. Smooth but tastes like grass. An average pils.

Pours with a big ole head, and lacing is fine too... smell is similar to heineken, some call it skunky- i call it skunkarific!... a basic beer, but it seems to do the job... For the price, a real bargain! ... I liked it, but it falls just short of classic heiny!

Canned. Pale yellow colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma of skunkyness and some malts. Flavour is smooth malty with smooth hops in finish. Hayish aftertaste.
