A light bodied stout that is brewed with roasted oats providing a smooth roasted finish in the mouth. This stout won’t fill you up but instead keep you coming back for one more. A great beer to enjoy with a friend at your local pub during the cool weather months.

(re-rate 09-30-2011) On tap @ The Quarry, Marble City's new tasting room: Black pour with a tight tan head. Very good lacing throughout. Initial light black coffee roasted malt aroma, very very pleasant, with some near-burnt toasted bread, some dark chocolates, very slight sweet molasses, earthy hops. Flavor is roasted malts, black coffee, cocoa, a tad bit of molasses and slight caramel sweetness, earthy hops light bitter in the end, a tad dry. (MUCH better than my first pint a few weeks back.) Very worthy and so far the best of the Marble City choices.
