Well this looks like no IIPA that I've ever seen, poured with a muddy burgandy/brown body topped off by a small light brown head that left light lace down the sides of the glass. The aroma is light hops and some sweet caramel malts. Mouthfeel is medium bodied smooth and slightly creamy. At this point I think it's nesassary to point out that I this really doesn't match up with the IIPA style. The flavor is spicy, floral hops with loads of sweet caramel malts and a slightly creamy bitter finish.

A tasty, nicely balanced IIPA. Murky, barely translucent pour with a meager head, but substantial lacing. Nice hoppy nose, and a sweet malt flavor with a sharp hop tang in the finish. By far the best of the various Magic Hat brews I picked up in Pennsylvania this summer, and was happy to share with my beerpal Phishpond.

Magic Hat never dissapoints me. This brew is a gift from Singlemalter: Pours a reddish brown colour with a very distinct sweet malted aroma. And followed up by a caramel finish. I thought it wasn't that hoppy for an IPA, but delicious none the less!
