Wheat magic, from Vermont. 12 oz twist off brown bottle, nice label. Ubiquitous pale yellow american beer color, has some streams of carbonation readily viewable. Aroma of mild floral hops. The initial taste is that of an ale, pale ale. I’ve tasted APA that is similar to this flavor. Mild hoppy citrus rind flavors that attack like any other pale ale. I’m not sure how they come up with this as being an American Wheat, I’m puzzled. Not too wheaty and there is not sludge on the bottom of the bottle. Something like Arcadia Whtsun or Southern Tier Hop Sun. These do not do much for the American Wheat style. If you are a hop lover I guess the hops in these brews make them more palatable for you. Except for the medium carbonation, I don’t find much anything like wheat in this brew. Finish is back of throat mild hops that are just ever so slightly bitter. A little disappointing for a wheat, though interesting and hoppy tasty. Boulder sweaty betty and Shiner Hefe are both much better than this as a wheat beer. I’ve tasted pale lagers that are more wheatlike than this.

Poured a brown amber with white head. Smell was a grassy grainy aroma. The taste was a sour wheat and spice.

Small white head, decent retention, slight lace. Hazy gold color. Faint nose of malt and yeast. Light body, under carbed. A little malt, some hops? Finish is dry, thin, bland.

Pours a hazy yellow, some white head. Wheaty aroma has yeast and lemon hints. Crisp, wheaty flavor has a sweet lemon (yes, sweet lemon!) underpinning. Texture has decent fizz and respectable viscosity. Good for taking the edge off a hot, humid Boston day.

I had this beer at a picnic. This was a nice and refreshing beer for a summer afternoon. It was a solid wheat with some traces of honey and lemon. A nice beer.

yet another non-descript entry into the american wheat catergory. average across the board...non-offensive...not complex or intruiging. pretty much what i expected.

As wheat beers go I liked this. Not overly spicy. Which is a good thing. Pretty straight forward wheat. Add a lemon or lime wedge and your set for refreshment

Pleasantly surprised considering I don't normally like wheat beers. Golden color with slightly fruity, grassy aroma. Taste is lemony with maybe a hint of honey sweetness.

This was a favoriteof mine in my really early beer infancy and I haven’t had it since. I was expecting to be seriously underwhelmed, but was pleasantly surprised. Rare to find in this style, a strong wheat presence was there with some nicely complimenting fruity zest. The only knock was a carbonation level which was a little much. A good beer.

Aroma is of lemon and some wet grass with some faint grainy overtones as wlll as some very light toasty notes and sweet malt. Appearance is a golden-yellow in color with a medium-sized head on top that is creamy and frothy as well as white in color and diminishes. Mouthfeel is light to medium-bodied with some decent malty balance as well as some faint floral overtone with a palate that is wet-like and clean. Flavor seems to be all-malt with not many hops playing arole and is malty sweet with some roastyiness and has an aftertaste that is clean and crisp but a bit thin with a finish that is smooth and wet-like. Overall, stylistically speaking this does not seem like a wheat ale or more importantly an American wheat variety and seems to be more along the lines of a blonde ale. Not recommended...
