12 oz bottle. Pours cloudy orange with red tint and a big meringue like white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is a bit subdued - wheaty malts, some fruity melon and maybe some rye.

The flavor is sweet bready caramel/crystal malts and some melon with a light to medium rye-like hop finish. The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and kind of watery.

Overall, it's OK. Seems more like a pale ale than an IPA.

A good all-around IPA. On the malty side, decent hops, with smooth mouthfeel. One of Magic Hats better ones. Appearance is leaning towards the light orange versus the pale-almost yellow kind. Above average for the style. A nice session beer to bundle in their variety packs.

A murky briwn yinged orange colored beer. Big fluffy white head rises above. It has amazing staying power. Thick fluffs of film and a fluffy ringlet are left behind. Big citric nose. Milder grapefruit, citric hopy and hints of sweet malt in the tasting. Light, thirst quencher.

Not bad, not bad. Although not incredibly different then most of the IPAs I've had from Magic Hat. Still was into it. Clear copper, nice sized white head. Aroma is in your face, very hoppy. Taste is well hopped, agressive and a little unbalanced. This American Wheat IPA label is misleading.

Aromas of sweet malts, floral notes and grapefruit, would give it a higher number if it wasnt so faint. A hazy yellow/ orange/ tan body. a thin head that leaves a touch of lace. Flavor of floral hops and biscut malts with a slight grapefruit finish.
