Pours a clear yellow orange color with a nice large frothy/foamy white head. Retention is very good and a decent bit of lacing is left. The aroma is of spicy earthiness in this. Rye runs the show. Touch of grassy hoppiness. The taste is a lot like the aroma with lots of rye earthiness. Grassy, woody, dry hay. Crisp toasty maltiness. The mouthfeel is light to medium body with good moderate carbonation.
