Not a ray of light penetrates the soul of this beer. Combining the roasted malt backbone of a Porter with a huge amount of earthy and citrusy hops typical in many IPA's, this unique ale will leave you questioning it's identity and maybe yours.

Pours a very dark brown color with virtually no light coming through. It is topped with a couple inches of tan head. The aroma consisted of some healthy floral hops. The roasted, chocolaty malt comes through as well. The taste is a nice combination of hops and malt. The rich roasted malt brings some coffee and chocolate flavors. The hops add some citrus and bitterness to balance this beer. The mouthfeel was full bodied and a little under carbonated. This is a great hoppy porter if you like that style of beer, which I don't.
