Pours very coppery. The aroma lacks a lot for an IPA. I just didn't think it smelled that great. It tastes like an IPA but a little watered down tasting. It just isn't all that hoppy. There was very little head that disappeared very quickly and no lacing.

Pours a clear coppery color, with a creamy, chunky 1 inch head. Has the smell of a pale ale (citrus, grapefruit, pine) but very subdued. Same story with the taste. It is all there, but just not the hoppy 'kick' that I was craving. Pleasant aftertaste of cascade hops (as per label). Medium carbonation gave an appropriate mouthfeel. Refreshing and tastey and quite drinkable, but just seems to be a little tame in the aroma and flavor. Good as it is, but average for the style.

This beer pours clear orange with a white fizzy head that disappears quickly. The aroma is tangerine, citrus, grapefruit, and hops with slight malty aroma. The mouthfeel is smooth, medium weight with good carbonation. The flavor is big bitter hops, plus bitter citrus that really grabs your taste buds. There is a lot of malt for an IPA, and it balances nicely. Maybe I’m crazy but I pick up a chocolate roasty flavor like a porter or stout in this beer, and I’ve had it many times so I can rule out a fluke bottle or glass.
