Aug. 2010: 330 ml bottle, bought at Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 8%, brewed by Het Anker. Very pale yellow colour, hazy in the end, huge white head. The aroma has notes of "Green Apples Shampoo", Belgian ale yeast and spices. The flavour is fairly refreshing for its strength and moderately spicy, notes of green apples again, also notes of white candi sugar and artificial candy, unpleasant soapy aftertaste. Overall disappointing.

Amber with lacing lasting foam. Strong barley aroma and bitter taste. Some spice there, truly a nice beer. Had this one on my list for some years, finaly. (Arnhem 201504)

Pours out cloudy gold with a MASSIVE white head. The aroma is very faint just a note of wheat. The mouthfeel is thick and rich. The taste is just a average Belgium style no real outstanding quantities but it is a good drink.

Aroma and favor (after they geyser subsides) dominated by yeast, fruit and nuts. not unpleasant, but not a favorite of mine. With a little too much carbonation, and alcohol showing, methinks this one is a tad bit overrated.

Have a thirsty towel handy, because this one pops and fizzes like champagne! It pours a pretty, slightly hazy solar yellow with a thick, frothy white head. Strong, yeasty aroma has hints of pear and butterscotch. Flavor has a nice malty core with subtle fruity and butterscotch notes, a hint of hops, and a firm but not fierce alcohol bite. Texture has good body and plenty of sassy fizz. Devilish!

A golden colored beer with one of the most impressive heads I've seen in awhile. Big creamy textured and white. It stays around a long time, settling eventually into a thick ringlet and impressively thick film. A medium, dry, well carbonated body. It is fruity, spicy and yeasty in nose and taste. I'm enjoying it.
