Bottle from d3atlanta. Hazed light yellow pour, small white head, some lacing. Light German qualities on this Betty: light banana, clove and wheat, lightly hopped and lightly flavored! Better than some American hefes, not nearly up to par with Bavarian wheats. Still refreshing though. Thanks Sam.

Aroma is wheaty and yeasty with a subtle citrus note, typical but still promising. It pours a hazy solar yellow; I was not able to get much of a head. Mouth-filling flavor has firm wheaty, yeasty, banana and sweet lemon notes plus a hint of orange. Though typical and not complex, it is still pleasing and refreshing. Firm-bodied texture has plenty of sass and fizz, leaving a wheaty, tingly finish with plenty of citrus.

Cloudy gold, thin ring of foam. Aroma of yeast, clove, lemon, and sweet bread. Although there's some banana as well as lemon and clove in the flavor, it's actually a little drier than it smells. Tiny bubbles, wet, but a little sticky.

No reviews for Betty? Man, the poor girl. Now that I'm working in NC, I figured I'd try some local beer at the local wings place. The beer was very average, and maybe too commercialized. Also didn't help that it was served in a frozen glass. Anyway, pretty basic all around, but the big shocker of the night was the nearly $6 price tag! I guess the South is good for buying houses cheap, but not beer.
