Comes out of the tap a deep coffee brown, a bit of a tan head. Aroma has notes of roast malt, coffee and bourbon-soaked wood. Flavor echoes the roast malt, coffee and bourbon of the aroma; and adds semi-sweet chocolate and a snip of vanilla to the mix. Bourbon-infused wood note is strong but does not dominate either the aroma or the flavor. Firm texture has a nice bit of fizz, and leaves a roast malt and bourbon finish. Keep your dead eye peeled for this one!
