A British inspiration, brewed with special English malts and hops from Kent. Developed from traditional varieties of English malt, this beer combines deep copper malt bearing a touch of caramel and some roasted flavors. All backed by the power and floral notes of the hops used, thanks to dry hopping. The dry hopping consists of adding hops after fermentation to extract aromas which otherwise would evaporate during boiling. Short, dark, strong character.

    Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8

500 ml capped bottle. Poured in an English tulip pint glass a gushing, unfiltered and absolutely opaque dark brown-chesnut coloured Brown Ale with a generous one finger beige and foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Some lacing. The aroma is yeast, toasted malts, notes of coffee and caramel and a late sourish feeling. The flavour is yeast, toasted malts, coffee and cocoa powder, aromatic and flowery hops, a light alcoholing feeling. The mouthfeel is round, creamy and quite thick. The texture is watery. This medium bodied Brown Ale has a dry malty and hoppy bitter finish. A nice Brown Ale from one of the newest French breweries. It's located on a small island, close to the Vendee coast. An asserted character and some nice promises.
