For over two years, we have brewed for personal consumption, gradually using our experience to refine the technique and material, suffering bubblers (bad fermentation contamination), experiencing anguish over-boil with caramelized burner surfaces, enjoying the spritzy opening of the first bottle of a new brew made over long hours and weeks of waiting. Taking advantage of these experiences, we were asked, "Why do you not sell your beer?" We started thinking about doing some bigger things and selling production from hectoliter batches. The idea has gone a long way over the months and in January 2013 we launched a great new adventure in the Brasserie de I'lle d'Yeu. You will find our beers for sale beginning in the Spring of 2013. Our beers are brewed in small quantities in a traditional process used many centuries. We use malts and hops from the United Kingdom, one of the great brewing nations (along with Germany and Belgium). We can say that our beers are rather British inspired, because the particular taste from across the Channel can be detected!
