This hoppy IPA is 80 IBUs and 6.5% alc/vol. Citra, Zythos and Falconer's Flight hops combine to produce citrus, stone fruit and tropical flavours. The assertive bitterness of these hops is nicely balanced by medium bodied, fresh malt characters.

Pours a huge frothy white head which leaves some thick dirty lacing. Has a pale golden appearance, little odd for an ipa. Floral and citrus hop aromas. Citrus and fruity flavours. Tangy, mild yeasty notes. Bready malts as well. Creamy and wet mouthfeel. Slight bitterness but not really as much as expected. Could have been slightly more bitter, maybe a bit too smooth.

bottle - pours a hazed gold-amber with a 3 finger meringue cap - laces the hell out of a glass. Big citrus and sweet pale malt nose some floral. Flavour is boiler plate west coast IPA decent drink, easy to drink too many. A good commercial craft IPA

Part of the BC Craft Brewers Guild Natural Selections 6-pack currently available at the LCBO. The beer pours a clear gold colour with a thin show white head and plenty of effervescence. The aroma is grapefruit, pine, and grass. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grass, weak grapefruit, and vegetables.

Had this in a taster pack. Best of the bunch in my opinion. Very quaffable. An aroma that reminds me of freshly baked bread, that at first, for some weird reason, smelled like wet clothes. Exceptionally creamy mouthfeel. Great colour and lacing. Highly recommended.

From the LCBO, in the BC Craft Brewers Guild Natural Selections 6-pack. Pours a clean rich golden with a big frothy off-white head, great retention and lots of foamy lace. Quite a beautiful head. Fresh grassy hops with some grapefruit and pine notes. Nice smooth bitterness with a little dryness. The grain is tasty and does balance out the hops. So, grass and cereal in the finish. A really like this one as not a hopbomb, not a macro IPA, but very well-blended to go down nicely, stay refreshing, but still be a real IPA.
