Jet black body thin tan skiff floating on top.....Beer gets a bit of a bonuce because it has a cool bottle. Aroma is sweet and toasty, raisin, mild coffee, possible chalky chocolate, and plum. I can see my self drinking this. Nicely balanced taste, sweet, malty, big prunes, lightly burnt brown sugar, coffee really lingers in the after taste. Feel is crisp and lively. So many flavors, so little time.

From Central City, in a bomber. Lovely label on a frosted black bottle. Poured very dark brown, almost black, with a lace producing brown head. Aroma was hops, dark fruits, and yeast; likewise the flavour along with some hops. No real evidence of the high ABV in the aroma, somewhat on display in the flavour but not overpowering. Hint of sweetness at the finish. Mouthfeel was a superior smoothness. Very nice.
