Poured red, with white cap. When I say red its quite crimson but it has a remarkable brightness for how cloudy the beer is. Very floral as soon as its poured and I have a slightly stuffed nose. Taste surprised me! Its big! Strawberry Special K is the first thought, but on reflection its not so fruity. Germmanic hops for sure, wish I could love that hop profile but I don't, but its better in this beer than any other germmanic beer I have come across before. I just noticed there is four mousquetaires on the bottle but the brewery is called three mousquetaires. Makes me think I should be more familiar with the infamous novel. Perhaps its worth mentioning the cork was near impossible to dislodge from the bottle, but then maybe its not worth mentioning. My reviews suck. Its medium to full bodied, impressive at 4.1 and not unreasonably sweet either. Nothing even remotely skunky or lager yeasty that I would normally hate about a fest beer. Much better than expected!
