What better than a seasonal beer to ring in summertime… and vice-versa! High Season is a beer with orangey tones that offers a bouquet of fresh flowers, orange and lemon. It has slight pepper and juniper accents that break through a very delicate tart flavour. The explosion of citrus forms a perfect union with the refreshing acidity of fresh grains. It smells and tastes of summer, especially on the patio !

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a fairly small foamy head and goes away quickly. Has a hazy golden orangey appearance. Leaves some sticky lace behind. Aromas of citrusy fruits, oranges, mangos. Flavours are equally fruity, somewhat the same as aromas, lots of oranges, tropical fruits. Good retention.

Purchased a 750ml bottle of this at my local Métro store. Pours a hazy golden colour with an amber hue. Big bubbly-creamy white head that stays long and gives out beautiful lacing. Alcohol aromas with orange and hints of other citrus fruits. Hints of yeast with some spices. Thankfully, the alcohol is not in the mouth. Kind of a mild mouthfeel, just carbonated. Quite easy to drink actually, with a mild taste. Citrus fruits, spices and the hop giving this a nice bitterness (and dryness). The alcohol does disappear after breathing a bit. A nice one, but I prefered their "La saison basse".
