Slightly hazed amber colour with a beige cap, average stay with a coat topping the brew and a light creamy lip. Brown sugar nose with some apples and hints of alcohol. The way the alcohol and hops blend together in the taste, really ups the apple notes, and cuts the sweetness you are expecting. Maple and chocolate hints do come out in the aromas, but very subtle. The alcohol warms the mouthfeel. Decent, but not what I thought it would be.
