Charakterstarke, süffige Landbierspezialität in Exportbierqualität. Ein echt würziger, frischer Biergenuss! Stammwürze: 12,5 % Alkoholgehalt: 5,4 Vol. %

Clear dark yellow with white lacing foam head. Strong aroma of barley, some grass and hay notes. Taste is decent barley, good German beer, little spicy. Nice small bitter aftertaste. (Velp 201401)

500 ml swingtop bottle, bought at Rewe Getränkemarkt, Erding. ABV is 5.4%. Crystal clear (filtered?) pale yellow colour, big to moderate white head. Very moderate carbonation in the glass and mouth. Aroma of grassy hops. The flavour has some malty sweetness, some grassiness and a substantial hoppy bitterness, while the alcohol shows an unexpected presence for a 5.4% beer. God knows what makes this a Landbier - it looks and tastes more like a filtered Dortmunder Export to me. Anyway, drinkable it is.
