Taps clear, bubbly amber with a fine-bubbled buff head. Aroma is not strong, but promises fresh malt and a bit of apple. Crisp flavor presents typical lager flavor, malty with a little pomme. Mouthfeel features OK body and peppy fizz.

Bottle from bro-in-law. It's a Kellerbier so not many to compare to: hazy golden orange pour, nice head and lacing. Subtle grassiness and sweet malts in taste and aromas. Slight Noble-like hops presence and very light linger. Very easy to drink albeit forgetful.

A bold orange-amber colored beer with a very small, one fingered, soapy textured off white head rising briefly above. There's no lacing as the head settles fairly quickly. The profile is not a Kellerbier. Reminds me of a Marzen. Sweet caramel, grainly, grassy notes, stronger in the tasting but there in the nose as well. Moderate bodied and actually not bad.

A copper/ brownish body, thin ringed head with very sporadic lace. Flavors of grass, bread, and some grain. O.k. mouthfeel, finishes a bit bland. Overall i wish i could have bought a single instead of a sixer.

Oh, so we had Mark sniffing gloves for nothing. .,. Pours a muddy brown .. very low head, no lacing .. brown bread grain and un-sweetened caramel .. tart on the onset, mellows on the aftertaste.. . decent, but the travel from Germany seems to have definitely skewed the Texan ratings... No problem there. I'm not wearing any. ..
