With a prominent, yet lite malt aroma, some phenols present, low hop aroma, poured out golden, nice head retention, moderate carbonation, sweet malt flavor with hint of spice, maybe honey also, slight fruit breaks thru when it warms up alittle, with medium body smooth quality, overall impression copper color, some malt sweetness, slight spicy and some fruit accent. A drinkable beer to say the least, nice to have when relaxing, warming up to do some beer reviews.

Poured it into my glass and it looked like the color of cream soda, with a thick massive white head. And I’ll be damned those Belgium breweries. Have knocked another one out of the ballpark.

C: Honey gold, clear, huge white head
A: yeast, citrus, bread, spices
P: Medium Bodied
F: honey sweet at the start, and quickly gives way to a spicy hop bite at the end
O: Like the bruin, the blonde is one of the gems in the Interbrew empire, which even today in blind tastings comes out very well for it’s style//

Poured in beer goblet glass, has a pretty good size foamy white head. perfect pour. Has a pale golden appearance. Very well carbonated. Has yeasty, citrus/orange aromas, quite mild. Flavours are also very much citrusy (orange, mandarins) light malts, floral hops with hints of banana and ginger. Somewhat tingling mouthfeel, yeasty, but slightly watered down. Pretty good affordable belgian beer and easily found

I've been holding onto this one a long time, at least a couple of years if not several, with many other beers I've been carefully cellaring. Age has done it well. It's in beautiful shape. Brick orange with an incredibly-- I mean truly unbelievable-- dense centimeter cap. Sweet sherry smell, very fruity. The flavor can only be described as rich crème caramel, absolutely delicious. Great lacing on the glass, spritely carbonation. Try putting one of these away for a while; it will reward you.

Part of the best of Belgium beers with glass gift pack (xmas gift!) Poured in appropriate glass, has a pretty good size foamy white head. Almost a perfect pour. Pretty good affordable belgian beer and easily found.

One good regular beer without pretentions. Good foam, nice darker color, good carbonated. Favorite. Taste is bittersweet, but not too sweet. Nice bitter aftertaste.

This abbey ale was a nice treat to have during the holidays in Hawaii. It was very refreshing upon opening and was very full bodied in the mouth. I was pleasently surprised by the great flavor of this brew. 10 went down the hatch nice and easy among friends and will love to enjoy this again. Im a huge fan of abbey's and triple tripels and can reach for this on a tight money day, no doubt.

Golden orange color with mid size head. Fruity aroma with a hint of bananas. Tremenous amount of lace left on the goblet. Didn't enjoy the fruity carbonated taste all that much.

Leffe Blonde- just good beer! Nice orange/golden pour. Easy to drink, good session beer. Medium white head that settles down to a 1/8 in. cover that follows down the glass. Hints of malt, grain and pepper. US mega breweries should have this as the cornerstone- Tried a few more on 14 Aug. Still easy on the palate, a little funk going on as a good Belgium should. Dependable corner to rest in. Update 30 Dec- still good this one will go into the favorite shelf!

Leffe Blond looks great. I tried a bottle and poured into my Leffe glass. It pours out forming a nice head, but it takes some time to develop. It stays on for a long time. Very subtle aroma some grains, but not much. Taste, however, is fresh, full of sides to discover. I tasted hints of pineapple sweetness in the beginning, followed by fruity hops and malts, ended by some alchol warmth in the finish. Really nice one.
