Carpe diem! Translation The Apocalypso is a veiled beer that matches perfectly the elegance of the Belgian white to hop character and American IPA complex. Overlooked by abundant foam, it offers a resin nose candy, lychee and pear. His mouth, first sweetish, is a durable wave of bitterness sapinée just waiting to be overlapped. As predicted by the prophet Zechariah Delaplaya, 4 surfers of Apocalypso soon appear to spell the end of the summer. Standing on their horses and cleaving the foam, they will arrive at high speed to announce the lovers of the sun terrace and residents by the end of the summer. So enjoy the time you have to put on you for a pint and live each day as a final stage. Carpe Diem!

375 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of fruits like lychee and pear, also pineapple. The flavour has some sweetness with hints of said fruits, also notes of witbier yeast, bitter orange peel and coriander seeds, followed by distinct but still moderate bittering hops, well balanced.

Pours slightly hazy amber with a thick and rather persistent ivory head. Aroma presents resiny hop, woody and pear tones - and is that lychee? Not familiar with that cockatiel. Flavor delivers firm, resiny hop tone that is a little bitter and has pear and citrus notes for sidekicks. Mouthfeel has typical body but some good fizz. Catch this wave!

The beer pours a slightly hazed golden orange colour with a half inch white head. The aroma is blue cheese, orange citrus, cereal grains, and spices. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is tropical fruit, weak grapefruit, cereal malt, and spices. A very refreshing white IPA/witbier. -

Not a bad looking beer, if it was black I'd give it another point. Sweet light fruity aroma. Medium mouthfeel. Tastes grassy, fruity, pine and a hint floral and spice. Bit of a Belgium ipa. Worth trying again.

Found at the LCBO under the name "The Four Surfers of the Apocalpso". Pours an unfiltered golden-yellow colour with lots of particles. Big frothy white cap, great retention and thick patchy foam lace. Fresh grassy nose balanced with a little sweetness from pineapples and other fruits. The mouthfeel is slightly dry with a little bitterness in the finish, but grassy tart lingers on the tongue. Flavours blended between the grassy hops and light tropical fruits. Goes down nicely as not a hopbomb, but for those who prefer more on the fruity side of IPAs. As the description goes, a Belgian Witbier mixed with an IPA. Nice !

600ml (odd size, no?) from Clover Crossing, as the "4 Surfers of the Apocalypso". Pour of hazy gold along with two fingers of creamy ivory head. Aroma was of a quality IPA, with generous amounts of citrus, pine, and floral hops. Flavour seemed every bit as good, too. Above average mouth. Bitter through to the finish. A nice Quebec version of a West Coast IPA. Nice embossed bottle, too. I'd welcome another of these any time.

Pours a nice thick frothy white cap and has a cloudy orangey appearance. Decent lacing. Aromas of citrus hops, light pineapples and sweet malts. Flavours are mainly tropical fruits, grapefruit, even a little bit of pineapples. Some notes of citrus and floral hops. A little bit yeasty as well. Very smooth mouthfeel, with a little bit of bitterness on the palate. Goes down extremely well. Really good!
