Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9
750 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Le Baladin tasting and stemmed glass an unfiltered and opaque mid- to ruby-brown coloured BSA with half a finger beige foamy head that had a short retention and many micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. No lacing. Many floating sediments. The aroma is quite bewitching, deep red sourish fruits, cherries, raspberries, fruity, dark raisins, peaches, citrus and a pronunced woody presence. The flavour is toffeeish malts, intense red fruits, raspberries, strawberries, cherries, fruity, peaches, apples, mandarins, oranges, a vinous touch, spicy accents with pepper, vanilla and nutmeg and vegetables with a well pronunced radish feeling. The mouthfeel is fulled, light fizzy and extremely smooth. This medium to full bodied BSA has a lingering sourish fruits finish. This well balanced, flavourful, rich and complex BSA offered me a splendid moment of tasting. The sourness without aggressivity ! Great ! Teo, you are a magician !
