When this poured out with super carbonation, I knew where there would be a slight problem. Even the picture here has a huge airy and foamy white head. Medium brown cloudy appearance. Flavor is mostly semi-sweet caramel malt, bready, with some mild hops. Balanced ok for what it is, but the bubbly feel sort of ruins the feel. Haven't had a Red Brick yet that was much above average.

Now I don't remember where I aquired this. Either in the state of Tennessee or North Carolina. Thanks to whoever gave it to me or thanks to myself for picking it up! Decent bright, amber colour. Off white head. Aroma is caramel, pecan and cinnamon infused. Flavors are similar, but a little light for my taste, and not quite where I want my ambers to be. Decent session beer none the less.

Pours a beautiful clear amber with a thick, yellowish, light tan head that sticks around - very appealing for any beer, and superior to nearly all amber ales. Aroma is crisp and malty with fruity and hoppy underpinnings. Pleasing flavor is mainly malty and has hints of fruit - mainly apple - and hops, with just a touch of bitterness. Texture is quite fizzy and lively. This is one of the best amber ales I've ever had. I have downed this before, but didn't realize how good it is - maybe because previously I've had it only from a bottle.

On tap @ Mellow Mushroom, Farragut. Nice clear deep amber pour with tight thin head and near perfect lacing with every drink. Aromas of lightly sweet malts, some fruitiness, slight breadiness, earthy hops. taste is clean and satisfying with earthy hops, light sweetness and biscuit, slight fruitiness. Typical but tasty Amber.

An amber colored beer that holds up a big frothy textured, off white head. This one's got pretty good hang time. It settles eventually into a thick soaoy ringlet and splotches of film aside the glass. The nose is mostly sweet malt The tasting is a citrus tart, malt sweet balance. Not really hoppy. A light, crisp, and evervescent-carbonation. Not bad.

Holy lord, these asshats brought back this beer?! This is like bringing Michael Bolton out of retirement, it’s a bad idea or is it? Let me give it a shot. The first version of this was a slightly crappy pilsner/lager deal but this is an amber ale. The appearance is an amber color with a moderate head. The aroma contains some caramel, citrus, a bit of pine, and sweat. Yes the sweat lives on. The flavor has got a tiny bit of unwanted funk but then the slight hoppy flavors kick in. A nice malt balance to the hops as well. Overall this wasn’t bad at all. I’d do it for a cheap sixer if I’m bored in the ATL. Real bored but still.......

I saw this one a few days ago on halloween... skull caught my eye I guess... bypassed it, but picked some up last night. 100% average in every respect. The carton was far more entertaining than the beer. More malts than hops, but balanced.

A beer of the month club selection for june/july 2010. Pours a hazy amber short live head. Aroma is a little faint, but flavor is good with a hint of grapefruit and bitter malt, this is good as I am have this brew for breakfast today. Generally a good utility brew.

This came with my micro beer of the month selection. Copper color pour with a small white head. Smell of malts, hops, nuts. Flavor is bland with malts sticking out a little. Disappointed with this beer, was looking for more.
