Smooth and creamy with a light touch of huckleberries, Huckleberry-Cream Ale would be great at the lake, a BBQ or simply just relaxing away a long summer day.

12oz bottle pours clear gold with tiny ring of white foam. The aroma has some berry notes mixing with a slight yeasty tartness and an even fainter note of sourness. At the end of the draw I get some sugary sweetness. All these aromatics seem to go OK together. The taste starts with a mix of berry notes, mild tartness, a faint sour fruitiness and then sugary sweetness. It ends with a bit of tartness that is able to poke through the sugary veil of table sugary like sweetness. This one really isn’t working for me.

On tap at Pandora’s in Twin Falls, ID
Appearance: Hazy grapefruit color with a white head
    Aroma: Huckleberry’s and sweet malts
    Taste: Same as the aroma
Not bad. It would be nice outside on a hot day.

Malty aroma has a strong, sweet overtone of - must be huckleberry. It pours a rather typical clear yellow with a fluffy white head, not inspiring, but one shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Better a good-tasting beer that doesn’t look so hot, than a great-looking beer that disappoints the taste buds. Flavor is malty and fruity, again with a sweet and slightly tangy huckleberry flavor dominating. The tartness nicely balances the sweetness. I get a hint of hops as well. Texture has average body and plenty of fizz. A distinctive beer, worth trying if you like something different and especially if you like fruit beers.

Light sunshine colored beer with a small soapy textured white head that rises briefly above. A small ringlet is left. The nose is lightberry sweetness. That same berry sweetness is more dominant in the tasting. Actually gets better the warmer the beer gets. There is a creaminess that is the high point.

Slightly hazy copper body with zero cap to speak of. Not sure what huckleberry is except for the Hana-Barbar cartoon character but man does this smell yummy. Aroma kind reminds me of raspberry yogurt. Very perfumey & sweet with a good tartness to balance the aroma out. Very Very flowery perfume taste but in a good way. Tasty sweet Raspberries or I guess I mean huckleberries built on a nice smooth malty back bone. Taste is very berryfull without being overly sweet. Nice crisp carbonation. Brew finishes with a touch of medicine. I like this stuff it’s a fruit beer I could see myself drinking all night but only if I was in tight black leather pants.
