Picked this up at a world market store yesterday because I had never had a brew from Slovenia. I don't think I'll be having one again anytime soon. Poured a pale yellow, lots of head. Nose was really off, grain, lemon pledge and grass. Taste was holy-shit-corny-as-hell. Really gross shit, gave me a stomach ache.

Mostly hazy light orange to lemon-aide color. Some sediment floating about. White head that consisted of some very large bubbles. The head stuck around for a minute, but it was not overly large nor did it leave a tremendous amount of lacing. The aroma presented a grainy note mixed with hints of grass. Somewhat of a fresh "hay" smell also. Almost smells like freshly chopped corn silage. The taste brought forth the grainy flavors with a very small amount of a citrus bitterness that gave it a slightly sweet and fruity undertone. Again more of the hay flavoring. Not real bad, but nothing that knocks my socks off. Medium/thin mouthfeel. Crisp and refreshing. Smooth, but somewhat watery. Doesn't cover the palate extremely well. This beer is mostly average to me. It is very easy to drink and would make for an ideal Summer brew due to it refreshing and thirst quenching qualities. I probably wouldn't seek this out, but if it was available, I'd drink it.

I found this beer very enjoyable after drinking a couple of mediocre pilsners. The beer pours out medium yellow color with a nice 1-finger thick head that lasted. Aroma was slightly herbal, a touch of honey and grass which I really liked. Flavors were bready, a bit sweet and missing any sort of hop character. Still it had enough for my tastebuds to enjoy it, and the 2 bottles I had went down pretty quickly. I'd definitely get again.

Same here, I wanted to just try a Slovenian beer and this turned out a pretty good lager! A healthy pour, seems there are some Munich influences, smooth sweetness, caramel/Vienna like malts. Grassy, nice taste of grains, healthy mouthfeel, crisp and clean. I found it a good pair with this burrito

To be honest I only bought this to check off Slovenia on my list of countries. However, it wasn't a bad beer at all. Its a nice medium bodied beer and has a hoppy taste to it.

I was very happy to see that the local LC added this little treat to it's shelf. It pours a classic golden beauty and to be honest taste very good... I would honestly say this is a dinner beer I will buy this again for sure.

I hate buying beer in cans, and this is one that I assumed would be crap - it's not. It's actually quite a decent beer. Deep gold in colour, looks a bit on the thin side, has lots of microscopic sediment trapped in it. Poured big foamy white head that quickly went to wafer thin and now has gone. Ok carbonation, no lacing. Smells not bad - I was suprised cause I assumed undrinkable harsh swill. Aroma has sweet mild malt, slight floral hops, honey and some dry grass (not lawn). There is also some strange foreign aroma and after some research (1st time ever!) I'd have to lean towards some form of cooked vegetable that I probally would never eat - but it is not an aroma that turned me away....odd. This beer goes through a bunch of different bland flavours even in just a single sip. Overall, it's got some unexciting malts and hops within the light to medium body that do just enough to keep me happy. Mouthfeel it decent enough with an obvious hop finish. Goes back fairly smooth although maybe just a bit to soft. Probally a little too much gas, but I'll save it for the dutch oven I'm going to suprise my wife with tonight. Very drinkable...at least one at a time. I image a legendary headache would occour after 5 or 6 of these.

pours a golden colour with a correct foam but no lace; medium aromatic hoppiness in the nose; some sweetness and a medium malt body; slightly spicy finish

Bought one can on a whim, and found it to be a very nice beer. Better colour and taste than a swill. Comes in quite an attractive can, too, although the Slovenian on it is all Greek to me! I'd have this one again anytime.
